You will work directly with farmers, providing expert support, proactive monitoring, and tailored training. Your goal is to ensure each farm not only uses CowManager but truly thrives with it gaining valuable insights, improving herd health, and achieving better results through precision technology.

The Job

• Based in Waikato Region

• Technical support: First point of contact for customer inquiries via phone and email.

• System monitoring: Daily checks of active CowManager systems; identify and escalate issues (bugs, incidents, performance concerns) to the technical support team.

• Training & coaching: Provide on-site and remote training to farmers to optimize system use and support long-term adoption.

• Interface support: Assist with hardware installations and data integrations with herd management systems.

• Relationship building: Maintain strong communication with farmers, dealers, and the NZ sales team.

• Feedback collection: Gather input from the field and relay to CowManager product and support teams for continuous improvement.

• After Sales training to help dairy farmers experience the full value of CowManager and gain the maximum benefits from the system. This will be done by on-going training with customers via TeamViewer and on-farm meetings

• Work closely together with both CowManager NZ and CowManager HQ team members.

The Skills

• Strong affiliation with the dairy industry; basic knowledge of cow fertility, health, transitional, and nutritional requirements.

• Hands-on experience with dairy cows is an advantage.

• Strong IT affinity; familiarity with computer networks and common software tools.

• Analytical, solution-oriented, and structured.

• Customer-oriented with excellent communication and empathy.

• Independent and proactive with strong organizational skills.

• Willingness to travel throughout the Waikato region.

• Applicants must be based in New Zealand and hold a valid work visa or residency.
