Will you help to improve dairies across New Zealand using CowManager? Our revolutionary monitoring system is being used by dairymen in over 40 countries. CowManager has big ambitions and is expanding in New Zealand. The support specialists make sure the CowManager system is used in the best possible way on farm. Will you strengthen our team? Join us as a Support specialist!

The Job

  • Based in Waikato Region

  • Answer (phone and email) questions from farmers and salesreps regarding their CowManager system;

  • Daily monitoring of the CowManager Systems with a pro-active approach (communication (and escalation if necessary) of bugs, incidents, wishes to the relative teams in the Netherlands);

  • Installations of cow data interfaces between CowManager and other herd management systems;

  • Perform installations for new customers on-site, installing the hardware and assist and train the customers in maintaining their system;

  • After Sales training to help dairy farmers experience the full value of CowManager and gain the maximum benefits from the system. This will be done by on-going training with customers via TeamViewer and on-farm meetings;

  • Work closely together with the dealer team / sales reps in NZ;

  • Work closely together with the CowManager Support team in the Netherlands.

Job requirements

The Skills

  • Great affinity with the dairy industry with a basic understanding of cattle reproduction and health; customer oriented;

  • Experience handling and working with cattle;

  • IT affinity and advanced computer skills;

  • Basic experience with computer networks, experience with the main on-side dairy technology;

  • Hands-on mentality, not afraid to improvise on the spot;

  • Problem solving, analytical;

  • Searching for process optimization;

  • Able to prioritize;

  • Willing and able to travel when needed;

  • Excellent communication skills. Delivery of the CowManager product specifications to farmers and conferences. A good listening skills and empathy;

  • Good organization and administrative skills;
